Sweet Riberlie, a little girl born with what is thought to be Torticolis. Torticolis is a treatable condition of weak neck muscles resulting in difficulty supporting the head. In the United States this is treated early and rarely seen in a toddler. Without access to medical treatment Riberlie’s weak muscles resulted in her head resting on her shoulder. She has been unable to stand or walk. With the advice of orthopedic doctors in the US we have provided a neck brace and exercises for stretching her muscles. Along with lifesaving food to treat her malnourishment and the neck brace we are hoping she will begin to stand and eventually walk and even run!
